what cities in texas are best to invest in for rental properties?

I live in texas, and i’ve been looking around houston for investment property. I’m concerned about the houston market because of all the new construction going on here. Too many choices for people may limit the availability to rent out property. Right now i need to know where to purchase investment rentals that can be rented out fairly quick. Section 8 is not a problem, but would be fine.

Wilmington/Delaware folks: anyone remember Merchants Square Shopping Center?

On Governor Printz Route 291? All I know is this was one of the first shopping centers IN THE NATION built in 1951. I think a Marshalls was supposed to open here in early 2008… funny it never did, since they hung a Marshalls sign. This reminds me of the infamous Dixie Square Mall… look it up if you have never heard of it. That mall closed in early 1978… and has been empty ever since.

Looking for real estate sites/agencies that are known for having many condo listings in the neighborhoods, not just the giant commercially owned buildings downtown. It seems like when I go searching that’s 90% of what I find.

My freinds 19 hes getting a new house and has always wanted a room with electricity and water for growing marijuana. like sprinklers that spray every time the plants need water (not sure how often) for smoking not selling. but what a builder do that, he doesnt want to ask a builder and get in any kind of trouble, so im asking you. thanks

So my family and I are looking to relocate to the Vancouver Washington or OR Possibly seattle area and I need to find a good couple websites that have house rentals? Like a good property management company with a website or what the website for your news paper is so I can search the classifieds. Also what are the best areas in Vancouver to raise a family, by the time we move we will have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old. We need to find a niece area that still isn’t too expensive to live. Neighborhood inquiry: replies from New Orleans natives only?

I am moving to New Orleans in a few weeks and am searching rental property. I found a house on Hamilton st between earhart exp. And airline hwy. I wanted to know if that area is dangerous. I realize that with most large cities the neighborhoods can change dramatically in only a few blocks. Please send me any info. I would like it if NO natives reply as you know the true city as opposed to new comers or tourists that have no clue and take things for face value.

How do I go about looking for apartments to rent?

Will be out of college in May and will be looking for my very first apartment ever. I want an apartment that is part of a house (as in a floor of a three decor, etc.) but when I search apartments online, only apartments in apartment buildings/complexes show up. Why? How can I search for a specific kind of apartment and how can I figure out how much I can afford to spend? My starting salary will be about 35k a year.

Well my favorite bookstore, Borders, is about to close!
And it’s the nearest one by where I live…
And all of the other Borders stores in Austin,Texas (that I know of) are closing too!!! >.<

So does anyone else know other bookstores?
And I don’t like going to public libraries.
